Preparing For Chair Massage
An ideal space is approximately 4 ft x 4 ft with an area to set supplies and music. The space can be within the open floor plan of the health fair or nearby in an office. Chair massage during the employee health fair is typically available on a first-come first-serve basis, however you may also schedule your employees in advance.
Day Of Chair Massage Event
A certified/licensed chair massage therapist will arrive at your office location approximately 20-30 minutes prior to the first participant is scheduled. Before each chair massage, the therapist will ask a few questions of the recipient to identify their needs and concerns allowing them to customize the massage specific to them. The therapist will assist them with sitting into the chair and adjust the chair for their comfort. Chair massages are available for 5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 minutes. After the massage, the therapist will disinfect the chair and get it ready for the next recipient. Your employees will return to work relaxed and feeling appreciated.
